Hey all,

Currently 19 payments into my IVA and happy with how things are going.

However, I'd love to get this ended as soon as I can!

I've read about ending early and that it must come as a gift from a family member etc. Are there any other ways of raising the cash to do this?

I haven't, but if I theoretically could save for the next X years to get a lump sum to offer, could I finish it 1-2 years early with a settlement offer? Or would they just want to adjust the monthly payments?

If you can save an amount from your share of extra income and bonus payments then, yes you could use this for an early full and final offer. If you are making substantial savings from normal income they could deem your expense allowances are too generous and increase your IVA payment accordingly.

After 30 months you might be able to take out an early release loan from somewhere like Sprout, although not all creditors will agree to this.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
