That's the one! You beat me to it.

Unfortunately for us it wouldn't have made any difference but I'llbet there are a lot of people out there for whom it will work but they just don't know about it.

As regards toilets, two of ours are relatively new and so are water saving anyway. The third one would probably benefit from the device as it will be a few years before we can replace that one.

Wow 3 toilets!! I only have one lol.

Mine had stopped flushing properly and needed pumping. Called a plumber and what with call out fee and hourly charge it was gonna be well over £100.

So I used Google, got some advice from a forum, armed with this I went to B&Q and for £1.75 got a new diaphragm, took me 50 mins to dismantle the cistern and what not and now it flushes brilliantly.

I stood back and marvelled at the power of the flush and I have to admit (As someone who is useless at DIY) that I stood back and felt manly haha [:D]

It's one each Luke!

Much better when you can do things yourself, and usually is much cheaper. I haven't a clue with DIY, hubby does all of ours!

I'm useless with DIY, luckily my husband isn't and if he can't he always knows a man who can and being a carpenter/electrician he can always trade jobs which is what usually happens so we don't have to pay anything x

The only thing hubby doesn't like tackling is electrics. He's fine with everything else.

Always good to know a few tradesmen. I keep wanting one of mine to get with a roofer as that's my next job! he he!

Daughter's hubby is a mechanic so fixes the car to a degree so long as it don't need that diagnostic thingy which it needed last year!

Our plumber is ace - last year we had a problem, phoned him on a Saturday afternoon. He was at the pub with his family, dropped everything and came straight round. Fixed the problem, and it cost us £40. Bargain!

I'd have been fuming if my hubby did that! He doesn't have to do on call now but when he did I hated it so much, you can always guarantee he was called out at the most inappropriate time. x
