We completed our Iva with DFD/Aperture on 21st September 2017 and although we have been making the payments to the company for the new secured loan on our property we have received nothing confirming that our Iva is satisfied. Is there a deadline that they have to adhere to?

Having spoken to Aperture they have said it’s with the land registry which doesn’t mean an awful lot to us.

We thought that once the five years was up and we’d remortgaged that would be it. Feeling very frustrated.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

You should receive a completion letter soon and just continue to pay your secured loan. Land Registry will be told your IVA is completed and they will lift the restriction on selling your house without informing your IP.

The secued loan was agreed and the relevant sum paid to Aperture -- that should be the end of it and they shoul have startedtheir own completion procedures to issue you with a completion certificate. The secured loan and it's registration at Land Registry has nothing to do with Aperture and they cannot rely on this as an excuse for their own shortcomings.

We received no communication from Aperture either when our IVA was complete it was only after chasing them via phone calls over a 3 week period (because they don't respond to emails) they confirmed it was complete and we should receive our completion certificate sometime in the next 3-6 months. Ps only managed to speak to some one because after 2 weeks of phoning them as an current customer and getting nowhere I tried as a new customer and got straight through.....
