Just a qiuck 1 how do all the creditors now if the iva has been approved

My new bank is halifax will they close my acc after iva
Dont own any money to them and no overdraft either

My account was with Halifax before my IVA. I changed to Co-Op. Halifax kept my account open and I still have it ( It has 18pence in it ). Recently they gave me a credit card and don't seem worried by the old IVA.

Just 1 final q me and my wife have 1 joint metro bank acc 0 balance will the iva affect this

Assuming Metro are happy with IVA's it should be OK --- you will not be allowed any overdraft facilities though. Because you have a joint account your credit file will be linked to your wife's credit file, so her credit rating might be slightly affected by association.

Your halifax account will be fine. Your wife will show up as being financially associated with you.
