Just me, hubby and my parents for lunch. Nice and quiet and daughter phoned to speak to her dad and grandad so everyone was happy.

Hope you had a good day Helen.

Hubby and me been together (on and off as we were both married to others at the time) 32 years in August - couldn't tell you the date, although I do know we went to Stratford and I wore a black sundress! He had a yellow Fiat. How sad that I can remember that!

Been together properly since 1984 and married in 1987.

I can't remember what he wore.

The first civvie clothes I saw him in was when he had to come into work whilst off duty and he was wearing a purple suit - it was awful!

I'll have a look (and a laugh!) Jan! I won't be bringing any of mine though!

Dave and I have been together on and off for 13 years in December. I can remember him wearing a blue t shirt the first time we went out and giving my his coat as I was cold - I can't see that happening now!

Just remind him of when you had to protect his dignity with his shorts! That might make him give you his coat![:D]

OMG I'd forgotten that Jan!

Wizz, that's awful. I know Dave feels the same with his children - they are now down to a tenner in their birthday cards as he never even gets a thank you, let alone a card back.

Sorry you didn't get a card Wizz, it doesn't take a lot of effort does it to pick up a phone or write a card but to some people it's impossible x

Just catching up! [:)]

Together 9 years Married for 2, But I can not for the life of me remember what day or month we had our first "date" so to speak![:D]
May/June 2001 ish![:D] In my partying days![:D]
But I can remember what I wore n just wish I could get back into a size 10 again! [:I]

Never forgotten a Mothers/Fathers Day yet [:)] my Dads just happy with a card no some chocolate - Tolberone always goes down well!

I think there is no excuse for "forgetting" the cards are around for at least a month before hand.
Final IVA payment made in April 2013, never ever thought we could do it or get through it but we did! X
