£17,000 debt with 7 creditors which I am managing now as working. Just been diagnosed with cancer for second time and need surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy. Will only receive full wages for 2 months may need 6 months or more off work or not able to work again. I am 60 but not due State pension until I am 66.
What options do I have in managing my debt?

First you need to investigate all benefits that are available, as any long term solution will depend on the income you can get, from whatever source.
In the meantime I would speak to a few insolvency firms, maybe consider a Debt Management Plan in the short term, until things settle down and you know what's ahead --- for a fee free DMP I would suggest a word with Stepchange. Being, in part, funded by the banks, this is "their thing".
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
