Best thing to do is call them, 0800 505 5555, i think, forever handing that number out to customers who have an issue with our nice brand new store!

I watched the chicken thing with the guy from river cottage and totally agree, plus the taste of a free range compared to a cheaper version, only snag is i can't afford free range on an IVA, far too expensive on my budget, unless i buy a little one and tell my brother not to touch it, its mine!

Thanks for the number, I'll give them a call!

I buy Tesco free range eggs (15 mixed size, the cheapest they do!) and we get our free range chicken breasts from the butchers, which is actually cheaper than Tesco and Sainsburys.

I won't be making the mistake of buying a whole chicken from the butchers at Christmas again though. We decided to have one a couple of years ago and pre-ordered it to collect on Christmas Eve. Bearing in mind that they are usually about £8 (my mum has bought us one now and then) I waited in the queue clutching my £10 note, only to be told that it was £21! I nearly fell over but I had to fish round for the money as we wouldn't have had any Christmas dinner!

[:D][:D]

I always buy free range eggs - barn reared at a push. Otherwise I would do without.

Our butcher does great free range meat, some of it locally produced. If I'm really flush then we got to a reasonably local free range pig farm and have some of their produce which is to die for! You do need a second mortgage though to afford it!

Noooo! I love to see the pigs and piglets in the fields, but they are all quite dead when you buy them in the shop! Just very, very expensive.

I don't think I could eat it if I'd seen it's relations in the field!

I didn't eat bacon for ages after I saw Babe!

Thought you might!

I don't eat many eggs anymore, but I would rather go without than buy battery farmed.

We do buy veg from Asda mostly, but it is usually locally sourced.
