There’s a post from debt camel that Aperture have said they are no longer accepting IVA applications as of today but will still be working on ones prior to this date and existing customers, I’m concerned as my creditors meeting is on the 8th July with Aperture - has anyone else heard anything ?

My guess is that they have finally realised that they bite off more than they can chew whenever the acquire another firms caseload and have decided to concentrate resources on getting themselves sorted out and providing the service they once did.

They are not taking new referrals, so I assume current work will progress as normal ... maybe even better than "Aperture Normal".

I assume as mine is currently being dealt with and they haven’t said otherwise it will go ahead still on the 8th ? Hopefully they have decided to ensure they can manage the case loads they have better if they stop taking any more for the time being.

It seems they have yet another arm to aperture - Jarvis Insolvency - my nominee Rikki Burton is showing now working under Jarvis as of June/July - I assume aperture and Jarvis are one and the same ???

Hmmm .. it will be 'interesting' to see if you now get handled by Jarvis, or stay with Aperture. Please could you keep us informed as this new saga develops ?

Out of interest -- how did you intially decide that Aperture was the firm you would like to work with ? Were you referred by a creditor / advice service, or did you do your own comparison exercise ?

Hi Foggy

Aperture have a head office in my area and I felt more comfortable with someone local and they are the second largest IVA firm so I thought they must know their stuff. Jarvis are now advertising their services much like Aperture so seems they are now the new case front end and Aperture will manage existing case loads - I’ll let you know if I get transferred as again my nominee is now the director of Jarvis so quite possible i will be transferred - if it gets agreed that’s is still not confident I will be accepted 😫

It really annoys me how we can just get shunted around after making our own choice. I was moved to what was then GT part way through my IVA and made no secret of my annoyance with them ! That said, they did come though for me when the chips were down, so I shouldn't grumble --- mind you they were a bit better ( if as slow) back then.

Looks like a rebranding. Simon Lee is Director of both companies.

There appears to be a few crossovers at the moment ---- just guessing, but my feeling is that the rebranding to Aperture didn't pull off shedding the old image well enough ( an improvement in customer service might have done that though! And a reversion to fair terms regarding equity release). So, as you say, another rebranding is in the air --- all they have to do is up their game, listen to feedback and act on it !!!
