If I don’t get accepted does that mean I continue as I was before paying my creditors every month? And would I have to pay creditfix anything for the work they have done so far? Or do we just close the case and that’s it done?

No, you won't pay CF anything and you can set up a DMP so you won't pay as usual.

I cancelled all my debt repayments as soon as I decided to go down the IVA route, which, same as Kallis, allowed me to build up a modest emergency fund.

Did both of your ivas get accepted? Once you done that? I really would love to cancel them all as they haven’t taken any payments yet from my new account but from the letters Natwest sent me last week there coming out usual next payment date as the extra money would help out a lot. But if I gwt declined then I have Natwest/HMRC/Argos on my bank. So confusing just hate the waiting that’s all.. yes or no is all I need 😭

Yes we both had our IVA's accepted and have both come out the other side.

I am sure you will be ok - just remain positive and we are all behind you.

Hi everyone, just a quick question and advice please.
I just got through the post a letter from Natwest saying they have received my insolvency proposal and states if accepted there tell my IP my accounts balances start of arrangement and if it’s rejected there be in touch to talk to me what happens next. And when they know more there send me another letter explaining what happens with the accounts. Also states the accounts will function as normal till they know what’s happening with the proposal and because I have loans out with them there send me a separate letter out regarding what happens with that.

I’m confused is this just a letter to inform me that they know and awaiting the outcome? As my creditors meeting is this Friday?
Letter came from the debt management operations in Natwest.

They are just being courteous (which is rare) and letting you know what they are doing. No need to worry.

Glad I’m not the only one. Your meeting is tomorrow isn’t it with the results yes or no? Did you cancel your direct debits with them once you got that letter or just kept them running for the moment till you get a answer? Keep me updated and good luck. 🤞🏻

My direct debits with them are not due till 7th & 8th so if it’s accepted this Friday I’ll be sure to ask my IP if I can cancel right away after the call that will massively help me save £600

Yeah when your accepted cancel them right away, the creditors can't do nothing, while your iva as been accepted. I know my bank loan was £366.
