Hello Hope you can help. I really really want to see a credit report that looks healthy after all these years in debt.
Im not asking anyone for credit, ive now finished work on medical grounds after an accident at work. which has totally disabled me.
But Im sure you know it is a nice feeling when all is finished.
My question is my IVA was approved on the 23.2.15 for 6 years. but i completed it on the 6-4-18. from what date do I take the 6 years from.
It would be nice to have it in my diary to check that it has come off my credit report. even though i wont be having credit again. most frightening time of my life
It's six years from the start of the IVA. Sorry to hear of your health problems.

As Kallis says, it is 6 years from the start that the IVA, having completed, will drop off of your credit files. I am assuming that you have had the certificate of completion.
Defaults will remain on files until their 6th anniversaries also --- which should be the same as date as the IVA drops off. It would be an idea to check that they are all correctly defaulted and sorting any out that might not be. Have a read here: https://www.iva.co.uk/what-does-an-iva- ... dit-record
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
