My IVA started on the 15th June 2015 so in a week it will be 6 years. All paid, no missed payments and I have my completion certificate. Will this automatically disappear from Experian, Clear Score etc and will my credit rating go up? Thanks

The IVA will disappear at the 6 year mark, as will any correctly dated defaults -- Have a read here: https://www.iva.co.uk/what-does-an-iva- ... dit-record

Your credit score will improve right away ... but will need to improve more over time, as you build a new 'history'. Start slow and low and build it up gradually. When you go for credit cards pace applications -- a sudden rush will demonstrate desperation, as will refusals and the number of searches --- always opt for a soft search first before making formal application. Clearscore and Credit Karma are useful for this. Higher interest rate cards will be easier to get initially (although my bank offered me one of theirs the day my record cleared). Don't be put off by high interest at this stage. You will be spending low and paying it off at the end of the month, so won't incur interest charges.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
