I had an IVA commence on 27th December 2013. I was discharged from the IVA on the 3rd November 2014 as I settled all of the debt within 12 months by coming to a settlement.
My question is when will the IVA disappear from my credit report as I am under the impression it will be 27th December 2019, 6 years from the start date.
Also, when will this likely reflect on my credit reports(s)?
Your credit rating will go up by a few points as soon as the IVA and defaults drop off. And will continue to improve as you get some history back on the report, assuming you continue to conduct accounts correctly. Your 'live' report will change almost right away, but will take up to two months to be reflected in the likes of Clearscore and Credit Karma (Noddle).
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
I got myself a high interest easy to get credit card with low limit when I was one year post certificate, used it every month and paid the balance off, which went from £700 to £2,500 over 3 years, now I have a cracking credit report, its just tiny steps to get there again.
The card went, and lower interest and harder-to-get credit card in now in my wallet (just in case)
