When will the IVA no longer show on my credit file?

My IVA has been completed a year ago yet it still states it current on my credit file, how do i remove it? no-one seems to be able to give me clear instructions on how to do it

The norm is 6 years after the start date of your IVA but this can differ by a few months as things tend to get overlooked by 'someone'. If you have defaults showing after 6 year and a few months then unfortunately it is down to you to chase the credit controller of the creditor and request them to remove it, your exIP will not entertain doing any of this work.

It will remain on your record for six years. Keep an eye on your credit accounts.

Did you actually receive a Completion Certificate? Have you also checked the Insolvency Register?
