I completed an IVA with Synergi (now ClearDebt) at the start of February. I stopped payments (after 5 years) on their advice. But I have heard nothing, despite regular emails from me to Barbara Chiswick. I now get no responses to my emails. Worse - a creditor has started to chase me again.
How can this be?
I will now be onto ClearDebt to find out what the xxxx is happening, but who can I complain to or use to help me?
I am just shocked that after paying for 5 years, 6 months later I now have to chase the IVA people. This is not funny.
Try contacting the head of Cleardebt, David Mond who will be unhappy to hear that you have a complaint against his firm and will be sure to want to clear things up for you quickly.
A bit of a nightmare scenario for you. Have you received your completion certificate from cleardebt? I assume the creditor chasing you was included in the IVA?
Hopefully this thread will highlight the problem if you are struggling to make contact with your IP.
