IP stands for Insolvency Practioner --- a highly trained individual who a=has the ultimate responsibility for putting your IVA together and then supervising it.

Are you trying to find your IP -- or just get an IVA set up ?

Guess my IP is Aperture then. Not happy with what I’ve read over the last couple of days and concur with a lot of what has been stated.
I’m due to complete 26 February 2019.
I need to be able to speak to someone in their offices but no one answers these days. Found their online Portal and registered purely by chance. Sent information. No update or response.
Will check original Cleardept paperwork as Aperture took over my IVA so I can get an idea of the time allowed for completion certificate.
I need to get this ASAP so I can cut working hours for health reasons.
Advice please on how Aperture can be spoken to. Thanks.

No -- the FIRM is Aperture. Your IP will be named in your proposal, or you can check on the Insolvency Register here: https://www.insolvencydirect.bis.gov.uk/eiir/

After following the advice given to me I sent an email to my IP.
Next morning at 9.20am I had a phone call from my IP’s stand in who was responding to mail.
I was told my IVA had been reviewed and was now being forwarded for closure a month early. No further payment required.
Was informed it can take up to 6 months but could be much sooner.
Let you know when the certificate arrives.

Good news!
