why do they want to extend my IVA??

I cannot really help any more on this as I don't know Jeannette's specific case details. All I can suggest is a call to the IP on Monday morning to enquire why there is a need for an extension. This may affect you, as if you receive a windfall during that period, it will still be captured under the terms of the IVA.

IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Thank you very much. I would just like a straight answer, a simple answer, so people can understand in everyday life what they mean by their silly letters that don't mean anything to the everyday person. I'm not a simple person, I just paid what was asked and expected this to be over with so I can have a normal life. I have emailed them and asked for them to confirm in writing that I will not pay anymore money. I think I should have declared myself BR. Might have been easier than this torture I'm going through.
