Hi,

I had an IVA 6 years ago and settled early in December 2013.

I now have the deposit for a house and am wondering if I would be eligible for the "help to buy" scheme even though my IVA wont disappear from my credit report until December 2019.

Would really appreciate advice as am sick and tired of paying someone else's mortgage for them by renting.

Thanks

I would suggest a chat with Ryan and / or Shaun, who are both whole of market brokers with experience of dealing with those of us with an IVA in our past. You can find their details under the "Quick Links" tab, top left, then "The Team" on the drop down. They are in yellow towards the bottom of the list.

Hi Ryan,

If it began 6 years ago and you've had your Completion certificate it should have come off the Insolvency Register already.

We look forward to hearing from you though.

Regards
