I had an IVA that failed, as the company that I was working for went into liquidation owing me £20k

I did not make any payments and I have paid some off, but not all.

I have not had any problems, but Experian still have it on my credit file.

Will that be there forever.

The other CRA's have not reported it and Experian tell me that it will stay on there until I prove that the IVA is completed.

You will have received a termination report when the IVA failed so send this to Experian. Once six years have passed from the date that the IVA was approved it should fall off your credit file.

You need to get a notice of termination from your former IP ... failing this .... are you still on the Insolvency Register ? The CRA might accept the fact that you are not on there as evidence of it's completion.

Don't forget that, as your IVA failed, the creditors may continue to report progress on any loans which remain outstanding.
