I booked and paid for a holiday in 2019. I entered into an iva in March 2020..my holiday did not go ahead due to covid.. I rebooked the hoilday for sept2021 but have now cancelled that and due a refund. Will my iva take the refund. Iva is with jarviss
In theory they could look on it as a windfall and draw it into the IVA. You will need to speak to Jarvis to see what stance they will take.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014 http://foggy.blogs.iva.co.uk
I was in the same position as you , but my refund would of gone into the iva as it was paid on one of my credits cards so it depends how you paid ,
I decided to just move the holiday to next year most holiday firms are allowing this free of charge because of the pandemic ,realistically I can’t afford to save for a nice holiday now being in a iva , so if you can afford to take the time off and so forth I would take the holiday
