Will my name be taken off the insolvency register automatically, or do I need to do something first? It's now 3 months since I received my completion certificate.
It can take up to 3 months to be removed - keep checking on the register.

Usually it happens automatically -- but there have been instances where the IP has failed to forward documentation to the Insolvency Service.
Have a look at your entry on the Register --- Does it say "Current" or "Completed" ?
If the former they might have not had the paperwork. You can initiate contact with them through the report an error button on their page and they will probably accepts copies of your copies.

As Foggy says if you click on your entry on the register it will tell you the date that they received the Certificate and when you will be due to drop off.
