Hi, I'm about to enter an IVA but in my savings account i have £2000. This is my rainy day funds. My car is on the verge of giving up. Will they check my savings account or have to declare my saving accounts?

I don't think they will check (but wouldn't bet on it !) -- but it should be declared. If it comes to light further down the line it could be awkward.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

I agree with Foggy.

This should have been declared so I recommend you tell your IP and be prepared to pay the monies over.
