My partner has an IVA, he has made all his payments on time in the last year since it was set up. He has recently finished work to care for me due to illness so his income has gone down, They have just done his income and expenditure review and said that they would not count daily living allowance in the income and without this the Iva is not affordable, but with it the Iva is affordable. Does this mean they will end the IVA as we are happy for the daily living allowance to be included and we have been able to pay the IVA with no issue.

Write directly to your IP and request he/she looks at this again, if your DLA can cover the IVA and your living expenses then there should be no reason to end the IVA>
Last Payment made 04/12/14. Completion Certificate 25/7/15. IVA company GT. No Issues

Is the DLA yours? If so I think he should be able to carry on paying as normal. I agree you need to speak to your IP.
