Hi there, i need some help with a question i have concerning Iva’s and bank accounts. I did have 2 bank accounts with natwest, one which my wages are paid in to and a second one. Im aware that if you want to set up an iva you need to send in 3 months bank statements. On my main bank where my wages are paid there is no gambling transactions, but i transferred money From that account to my second one and gambling was on that account, that bank account has been closed now. My question is when i send my bank statements from my main (only account now) will they ask to see the other closed bank statements and would it affect the iva going ahead ?
Many thanks
Dave

I doubt it -- but be prepared if they notice the transfers. I had 2 co-op accounts: one where wages went in and bills came out and I used the second for shopping and petrol, transferring a lump in every month --- they never asked to see the second account statements.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
