Will the Iva run for 6 years?

Just had a valuation off an estate agent for equity - month 54 myself and my husband both have an IVA they have said £40,000 as an asking price we owe 27800 will we have to do another year.

You may well have to - you will be unable to remortgage.

If the equity release clauses are applied correctly, it looks like you will not have enough equity to trigger the release clause --- however, some firms are quite "inventive" with their interpretations.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
