i am in my 1st year of an IVA and was wondering about when i get to my 4th year and have to remortgage to raise capital towards my IVA will the mortgage provider learn of my IVA details?

Hi,

Yes they will know of it as they will have been told once the IVA is accepted.

You will probably find that your IVA will continue for a further twelve months in lieu of equity if you can't remortgage.

Don't know.

Ours wrote to tell us that we were bankrupt - I soon put them straight on that!

Perhaps yours didn't bother to contact you orange? I know they are informed nowadays.
