It's a good feeling to have some money left at the end of the month x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

We put £2 a month in a jar to pay for a meal out when we reach half way(30 months). It gives us something to lookforward to in the dark days.

That was a good idea Carole, I transfer all my oddments from one bank account to a second account. If I had say 9.72 in my main account I transfer the £9.00 always keeping main account to round figures, when I get £15.00 I transfer it and use it as a meal at a local pub which we enjoy, takes about 6 weeks normally, meal is 2 for £10 and a soft drink and one beer around £15.00 we enjoy it and find it a challenge to accumulate the money and most of all really enjoy the meal. x

I save 5p, 2p and 1p coins and every so often get them changed. It's useful if I want to treat myself to a new top or something.

Nice if you can save it up for a meal - rarely go out for a meal these days as I can't eat a lot and two for a tenner would be a bit of a waste for us!
