Hi debt attack.

Time does fly by, and we are 3 payments down already. Unfortunately our winding road as hit a few bumps just recently, with me be made redundant 2 months into our IVA.

There is a glimmer of light mind you, as a job offer may not be too far away. Hopefully then we can continue with our IVA journey on less of a bumpy road.

I would agree it is a better decision of ours to pursue an IVA, has opposed to opting for BR.

congrats on the six months.

It's amazing how quickly you can get used to budgetting properly.

I messed it up for about the first six months, never still with money left (owing mates a few quid :o) ) but you soon tighten your belt a bit.

Good luck for the next 54 payments :)

Well done debt attack.
It is a nice feeling just being a few pounds in credit at the end of the month.
We are probably the best off we have been most of our working lives. Not saying i am rolling in cash, but it is nice to have a positive balance at the end of each month and not having to pay any pesky credit cards or loans.

Yeah have to agree with all post on here. I find it exciting seeing a postive bank balance. One we've probably never had unless its actual pay day. So far our road has been a postive one and heres hoping long may it continue. i thought the time would go slowly but here we are come this weekend 6 months in already. Scary really, but all the closer to being debt free. good luck all
