You have a healthy dividend to offer (and very little for them to gain from bankruptcy at the moment). If tghey did refuse, for some reason, you could try a DMP while you think of a "Plan B".

Hopefully soon - you could give them a call to check.

I'm working until 4pm. If I haven't heard anything by then I'll give them a ring.

Just rang creditfix and they said that they were still negotiating with the creditors, and this could take hours/days. Does this sound right?

Unusual - they should have results in by now.

It sounds right for CF ! They are often in this predicament ... seems they are the only firm who are. However, they usually pull through in the end. Your meetig could, however, be adjourned (maybe more than once).

What happens when the meeting is adjourned? How long could I be waiting for a result? I was hoping I would have been told what was happening by now.

Thank you all for your replies. Its nice to know there are people there to talk to and seek advice.

CF will be trying to rectify whatever the problem is (I have my suspicions). They are renowned for not telling people what is going on unless you ask -- even then the call handler is unlikely to be helpful, unless you get one of the rare diamonds.
