I recently received a "welcome pack" from a company called First Dispute Management regarding PPI. Do I legally have to agree and sign the forms they sent even though my IVA completed over 5 years ago?!
I'm getting fed up with it to be honest; I've already agreed to PPI reclaiming three times in the past, the last company being Slater Hayward Law, and I was even told I would not be contacted again..., but it seems my details keep being passed around to new companies all wanting a slice of the pie; under new GDPR rules, are my details even allowed to be shared and/or sold to different companies???
FDM have since followed-up with two phone calls as I've tried to ignore them; should I call them and/or sign the forms or should I keep ignoring them and wait it out until the August deadline; I feel I have been more than fair in the past and have cooperated fully so I don't see why I should?
I would appreciate some advice please, I guess they can't take me to court or anything if I don't sign their forms?? lol
If you have your completion you can tell them to get lost. If you sign and send back they are they ones who will lose out.

How far they can force the issue is an unknown and also depends on their appetite for an arguerment. I have amended the conditions on mine restricting them to access to matters only prior to my completion date and told them that I have nothing to add to information previously tendered and they should rely on their own records.
Any PPI isn't mine and, if they want to waste their time on a fishing trip they are welcome to.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
