Many congratulations i bet that was a great feeling, can't it for mine either but have two years to go for that one sadly.
Om shanti, namesté, good luck to all who are embarking on the IVA journey, it isn't always an easy one but the outcome is the best.

IVA COMPLETED August 2012, received Completion certificate 18.4.13.

Cheers guys for your support in the past, this site kept me going through the difficult times, brilliant set of folks on here, for all the newbies on here stick with your iva and never give up, honestly the time really does pass very fast. Can I ask a question please do I send all the documentation received from Payplan to the agencies?? or just the completition cert? Thanks Phil

Hi Phil,

Just copies of the certificate of completion to the agencies but you will need to contact all 3 of the main credit reference agencies and check your reports to make sure creditors did not keep defaulting you after the IVA was agreed. If this is the case you will need to write to the creditors to get them to amend

Completely agree with Ray. Get a copy of your record first to check what is shown on there.

Thanks Ray and Kallis

This sounds complicated, mmmmm sounds like it will be a long process to get all the information correctly registered, still worth it though, cheers. Phil

You may find that you don't have any defaults registered post IVA acceptance, in which case you have no problems.

You do need to check though.

Struzzo

Thanks

Hang on in there we all feel the same at the beginning of the iva but believe me its well worth it, and the years flew past, plus the iva has taught me a serious lesson, I will be very cautious when obtaining credit again.
