Sorry I can't give you any words of wisdom to help you get through this, but I just wanted to wish you luck.
Providing you and your IP have put forward a realistic proposal your life won't be hell for the next 5 years. I'm not saying it won't be tough, but you won't have the creditors hassling you all the time.
You are not a failure! You have faced up to your debts and done something about them and that is something to be proud of. I don't know how old you are, but I will be 35 by the time I finish paying into my IPA and sometimes I feel as though I have wasted my life, but I have learned my lesson and that is what life is about.
One thing I would say to you - if there are any modifications please think carefully before you agree to them. Ask for an adjournment to think it through if necessary. There are so many people on here wo have agreed to modifications that have made their IVA unworkable.
Good luck, and don't forget to let us know how you get on x
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.

Hello tinytori, you have received some sound advice from Skippy. You are not a failure, its normal to have the feelings that you do but just remember that you are doing something about your debts, you are facing up to them. That in itself takes courage.
Best Regards. IVA Experts
