my bank will not remove my ex wife off my bank account and i now i have doubts about proceeding with an iva, she has now remarried and changed surname will they still find her

ok thanks, well back to worring and struggling, i will not allow them to pursue her for money she does`nt owe, i`ve explained this to them but they dont seem bothered

They wont be - legally she is still liable and will pay the debt.

Can you not contact your ex and explain you are in financail difficulties and try and sort something out with her,
I understand its not always easy but it might help the situation.
If she has remarried was she not aware she still had a joint account with you.

the bank have basically told me to do a budget planner prior to her name been taken off, that does`nt sound right to me but i`m no expert
