with this present financial problem with sub-prime lending will this effect those in IVA's who need to remortgage now or near future ref 4th year release or will it be much more expensive?

Possibly....... one thing that all sub-prime mortgage lenders are looking at doing is domonstrating affordability - reducing the % of income spent on mortgage.

Hi
Luckily people in an IVA have relatively high disposible incomes as they do not have to service any debts.Remember your IVA payments normally stop once you remortgage and release the equity required,or at worst they will reduce by the extra that you are paying for the increased mortgage.
