It will only be on the register for as long as it takes to complete the settlement and for the Supervisor to file details of completion with the Insolvency Service.

There's no way round this, and it will stay on your credit record for 6 years from the date that the IVA is approved.

Your details will not be on the Insolvency register for as long as someone who is in a 60 month IVA but there is nothing you can do to stop your details being on the register untill the full and final transaction is made.

Hi m.ws,

Your details would still be placed on the insolvency register but this would only be until a certificate of completion is issued then they will be removed.

To be honest, only a small percentage of the public know about the insolvency register and those who know of its existence probably only know because they have declared themselves insolvent through bankruptcy or an IVA.

Best Regards. IVA Experts
