[:I]

This maybe a silly queston, but.....

Ihave recently had a mountain of letters from Eversheds saying that a company called Max have purchased my debt.

I've really started to look at the details and it seems tha some of the letter are for the same debts that keep being sold on.

Is this something to worry about?

How to Debt Purchase companies act within an IVA?

I've been told they are usually far better than most and that they have usually only paid a fraction of the outstanding amount due?

They have the usual disclaimer "there is nothing for your to d as we will be dealing directly with you IP agent in bankruptcy", Should I worry it says bankruptcy rather than IVA?

I feel a fool asking so many questions this far gone into the IVA... but I'm just expecting something to go wrong in the home stretch.

Your input would be much appreciated.

Hello s.b.w. -

I asked a similar question recently and understand that debt purchasers are bound by the original IVA proposal (subject to any agreed modifications).

Please have a look at the thread titled "Debt Purchasers" from a few days back.
