I am doing some research into IVA's for a friend and i was wondering how long the whole process takes on average from the 1st phone call to the IVA being setup and the monthly Payments being made?

Hi helen
It differs from case to case, but unless there are any complications you should wait no longer than 8 weeks from your first point of contact with the Insolvency Practitioner.

Good morning Helen,
It ususally takes 6-8 weeks to set up an IVA considering your friend is organised with her/his paperwork. (credit card statements, bank statements, loan agreements, etc.)
Kind regards,
