I am currently in an iva and my wife is about to get a new job with £500 extra per month how will this affect my iva payments thanks

Was your wife's income taken into account under the IVA? My own view is that if she has had a payrise, then that is no business of your creditors, but you may need to reallocate the way you share the expenditure as she will now probably be required to pay a larger share, which in turn will give you a higher disposable income.

Ask your own IP for specific advice on this point.

Yes my wifes income was taken into account,what we do is just put both wages together and do i and e from that is this not normal it does seem a bit unfair to my wife as the debts were all mine

But she must pay her fair share towards the shared household bills and this is usually on the basis of both sets of earnings. Your IP will be able to work out revised figures for you I am sure.
