Welcome to the Forum beachcomer,
In regards to getting a new car, I would discuss this with your I.P before making a decision, as you would need your I.P's express permission to take out a car on HP.
If you are struggling with living this is also something that needs to be discussed with your I.P, your expenditure should be reviewed. An IVA should provide an affordable monthly payment, you are not meant to struggle your way through the 5 years.

Hello and welcome
There are a number of HP providers who are willing to offer their services to people in IVAs. I am sure Andy will be along shortly to offer you the links.
This will however have an impact on your ability to continue to make your agreed monthly payment so you need to raise these points with your IP asap.
Best Regards

Hi and welcome
You will need permission from your IP to take a car loan out but another alternative is to ask if you can miss a couple of payments and use that money to buy a car.The missed payments can normally be tagged onto the end of your IVA.

Hi and welcome to the forum,
There are a few companies who will lend you money, but to do this you will need your supervisor's permission. It will depend on how it will affect your ability to continue to make payments into your Iva.
