Always been more of a Hippy myself, although I never had the Hippy look, always had a crew cut and a suit!! Hippy at heart I guess [:D]

My hair is desperately needing a cut and colour at the minute but I'm hanging on as I want to have it done just before I go away and can't afford to have it done twice! So wild haired Barbie look with grey roots for me until October 20th! x

I shall be off for my usual dry cut next week. £12 every five weeks.

It's only £15 for a cut and blow dry for me but with a colour it goes up to £35 so I have to wait this time I'm afraid. x

I'm jealous - £30 for a cut and blow dry for me, plus £45 for the colour if I have it done at the hairdressers!

Luckily my neighbour used to be a hairdresser and although she won't cut mine she colours it for £25 - and does it better than the hairdresser!

This is a home hair stylist price Skippy, I do prefer it though to be fair than going to the salon, she rents a chair in town for a couple of days a week and the rest does mobile hairdressing. I've even converted my daughter to use her now as she is really reasonable and good. x

I had a very bad experience with a home hairstylist, I ended up having to nip up to my local salon for a rescue job - all this 24 hours before I was due to go on holiday!

Since then I have stuck to the same salon. It's not the cheapest but I know them, and they know me. I used to spend a fortune in there and probably will do again once the IVA is over.

I'll have a few more grey hairs by then!
