I like dogs, but I don't really want anything I have to take for a walk - Harry does his own thing which suits me!

I've told Dave about the courgettes, so hopefully he'll grow some next year as I love them. We're thinking about digging a little vegetable patch so any ideas would be welcome!

Luke, I break my heart when we lose one and I always have to get another one. It's not a replacement as they are all different.

Could not imagine being without a dog.

@ Kallis - Yeah every dog is different and the old ones leave you with some great memories [:D]

@Skippy - Well if you digging a little patch I would say Courgettes, Spring Onions grow quick, grow your own herbs they so easy to do, maybe some greens like Spinach....

Our spring onions were rubbish - radishes ditto.

The only things we can manage to grow are apples (we have two trees) rhubarb and fennell!

I want Dave to grow me some beetroot as well, but I don't know how easy that is! I love onions of all types, so hopefully he'll be able to give them a go. He also wants to grow runner beans as we both like those, unlike tomatoes, which he has all to himself!

For some reason hubby does not do too well with veg although he has tried!

We also do our own strawberries but they don't last very long - as soon as they are picked they're eaten!

I've a yard not a garden so it's difficult for me, although not impossible to grow anything. My Cocker spaniel is 7 today, we've just remembered!
