just thought I would tll you (in case you don't know), that Asda are doing their Easter Eggs at £1 each now. I know in the past few weeks they have been 3 for £5, but we went in on friday and jumped with delight to see they have gone down in price.

I might just have to treat myself to one for the weekend. xxx

My son told me they were £1 again on Friday, but I have just been and the offers ended at my store, damn [:D] I always miss it

We got some eggs for Gary's son at Sainsbury - three for £5.00. They are a reasonable size (as in not tiny), bargain. I'm lucky as I don't eat chocolate so I won't feel deprivd that I haven't got an egg!! [:)]
We've just spent a lovely day planting tomatoes and peas to see if we can save money by growing our own - fingers crossed our srop flourishes!! [8D]

I'm feeling so much better now the "Decision" is made and the date set. I know I'll have my up and down days, but I think I can now see the light at the end of the tunnel!!
Also a long talk with the OH has made a difference, we are now both singing from the same hymn sheet at last!! [:)]

Glad you and OH have sorted things out as well. It's amazing the difference it makes when you sit down and thrash things out.

I've just started slimming worl and an easter egg is on average 40 syns.. not including sweets.. so thats enough for me not to bother.. Got bairn one tho, but she's not a great chocolate lover!!

Hubby came home last night with an After Eight easter egg and a large box of After Eights too for me [:D] yum, yum

I went into Asda last night and the eggs have gone up again to 3 for £4.

One good way to do it might be to but one now (at what ever price) and then wait till Easter Sat or Sun when the price falls and then but more for little ones. Say it's healthy eating and spreading the joy of chocolate over a week.....
On the subject of home grown - unfortunately the puppy has eaten most of the tomato plants and the plastic miniture green house we bought. He hasalso devoured three pansy plants. Any ideas on how to stop him chewing plants????

You will have to be careful with him eating plants as some are poisonous to dogs.

You could use water aversion therapy - get a water pistol or something and when you catch him doing it, squirt water in his face. Or get one of the noisy clicker things you can get for training, and make the noise when he does it - they don't like that either apparantly.

It's catching him that is the problem - one of the other digs also eats plants so we're not exactly sure who is doing the chewing, so to speak.
We think it's the puppy and the Westie - so far my flowers, post surgey, from obth work, Gary and my Sister, were all eaten which was really upsetting.
We've told them both off but have no assurance that will work!!
I love my garden as it's one cheap thing to enjoy!! [:)]

You could think about dog training classes, that might be a help.

It's no better when you've got a cat! Harry is the only cat I know who uses his own garden as a toilet so any plants get dug up and kicked all over the place! And to add insult to injury I caught him weeing in one of my plant pots!
