Heard this on the radio today and found a link to the BBC website!

I told you that I was going to find ways to give everyone a chance to have a good Christmas for 2008. This must be good news for us and allows us a chance to put something away each week!
What do people think!

I think that it is a brilliant idea, especially for those people that may be on a tight budget.
The idea of not being able to withdraw funds until November will take the temptation away from those that may want to dip into the fund early.
With 200 retailers signing up to this also gives the saver a lot of choice.
I am definitely going to get one for next Xmas

It's all fun & games, until someone loses an eye!!

Thanks for that Ray, I'm definitely going to open one. I already buy the stamps to help with my car tax so I can do it all together!
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.

What a fantastic idea. I shall pop in to the Post Office and pick a leaflet up to "join the club"

What a great idea and it means I won't have money in little pots all over the house!!!
Tesco's do a similiar scheme where you can opt to have all your vouchers saved up until the November posting and you can also top it up as well!

If you ring the PO Helpline 08457 223344, I think there is an option to pre-register, although the scheme doesn't start to January I think.

I'm really up for this, but can't find any mention of it on the Post Office website. Anyone know where I can get a leaflet to download, or an application form or anything?
