My hose is hanging out the window, but it's sucking all the hot air in from outside. if i weren't so wobbly i'd get up on me surface and cling film the lot. I turned it off and within 15 minutes the indoor temp went from 15/16, to 28 !!!!! Damn you, south facing penthouse bachelor pad with a gorgeous view. Hotter than a glass blowers arse. I tell thee.

Our living room is nice and cool as the sun is only on it in the morning. I love the heat, but this is too hot for me and it's too warm for me to sit out in it at the moment.

We have the windows and doors open - I love the heat and wish it would carry on past the next couple of days!

Boo hiss. We are treating ourselves to a modest chinese takeaway to lift our depression at the damp day we have endured!! Its pay day soon and as wife was on holiday part of month she used less fuel. We should save it really but the treat will do us good!!

I like the heat, but it's been too hot today here. We went for a walk along the river earlier and my clothes were stuck to me when we got home. I like heat with a nice cool breeze!

I'm with Jan never too hot for me either. I've been to the seaside all day and done nothing but had a fab time. Was far too hot to go rod bending so we' put that off until next week.

Glad you had a good time Lesley - wish I lived nearer to the coast. We had stepdaughter and new boyfriend across this afternoon and had a great time. I love weather like this!!

Yes we're lucky we have Hunstanton and Skegness about an hour away in different directions. Today we went to Hunstanton as there is less there and you don't need to spend anything, picnic and we just bought a lolly on the way home. Lovely day, glad you had a nice family day too x

I hate the heat !!! And, to make matters worse I chose today to go pick up the makings of our new laminate floor (Landlord paying for the materials I just have to provide the labour ... something else I have never tried before!). It was bad enough getting the stuff into the car at the DIY store. But I live in a 2nd floor flat, so it was a trifle on the warm side getting it up the stairs!!!

I could quite happily live in a very warm country all year round!
