Hi a iz and a warm welcome to the forum
It's lovely to know that there are a lot of silent members out there who are also gaining a lot from reading posts on the forum, as well as the regular posters.
Everyone gets something out of the forum - including the insolvency professionals like myself who learn an awful lot from the other professionals such as the mortgage, financial and insurance experts, as well as from people who are living the IVA or bankruptcy experience.
Regards, Melanie Giles, Insolvency Practitioner for over 20 years.

I for one would deffinately urge all the silent readers to post.
I used to be one of them for some time.
The best thing i did was ask my 1st question because the non-judgemental attitudes of everybody on the forum gave me the confidence to keep asking and that went a long way to making me see that i wasnt on my own.
Please just ask.....

It took me a while to pluck up the courage to post - I wish I'd asked questions sooner!
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.

This site helped me too, loads, I was so desperate but it is quite difficult to make the first post. The words just dont come and you dont quite know where to start but if anyone out there feels alone, overwhelmed and desperate, this is a great place to be.

I read posts for months before posting, and of course, during that time the debt got worse! Now two payments into IVA and still a daily reader!

Totally agree I can not thank this site for all the help that it gave me a few months ago!

I absolutely echo your post - this site and the advise is invaluable; it does frighten me though (but at the same time reassures me) the amount of people in the same situation. I wish you luck in whatever your personal circumstances are ...
