Thanks. Actually, deep down, I was hoping for a face to face interview, for the same reasons as you. It is more personal rather than someone down a phone, and you do as you say get the chance to guage their reactions.. I think thats a good thing!
As you all will emphasise with I am sure, you start to worry about all of the robbing peter to pay paul, will this result in a BRU and the level of IPA.

of course you start to worry as you have never been in this position before, he will ask you to put in your own words why you think you have come to this position, and basically what they want to hear you say is because you have lived above your means, he should tell you on the day if an ipa is being set up as he goes through your i+e with you,and you then have a good idea what your surplus is.
good luck with the meeting, try not to worry too much, i know its hard not too!

Hi Andy,
Firstly best of luck with your OR meeting, Im sure you will be fine just remember they are there to help you not make you feel bad.
Secondly try not to worry about a BRU, this only occurs if the official receiver considers that the conduct of a bankrupt has been dishonest or blameworthy in some other way, he (or she) will report the facts to court and ask for a BRO (Bankruptcy Restriction Order) to be made. The court will consider this report and any other evidence put before it, and decide whether it should make a BRO. If it does, you will be subject to certain restrictions for the period stated in the order. This can be from 2 to 15 years.
This is really only happens if you have been involved in illegal activity or the like.
Best Regards,

You will be offered the chance to accept a BRU (bankruptcy restriction undertaking) if the OR deems your conduct unacceptable. If you agree to this it's generally shorter than a BRO, but if you don't agree the OR will apply to the court for a BRO.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.

Hi Andy, I know what you mean about robbing Peter to pay Paul! I did that for months before I filed for BR, if I'd have addressed the situation sooner I could have probably reduced the amount I owe by thousands!!!! I though if I could hang on long enough to remortgage then I'd be able to pay it all off. But hindsight is a wonderful thing! I think I would have preferred a face to face, I kept having to phone the OR back because I'd forgotten things and it's hard to speak to someone about something so important when you've never met them! As Kerri has says - just be honest and you'll be fine.
