I'm currently in an IVA am wondering if it is possible to get a mortgage.
I currently rent my home and it has just been put up for sale, I would like to if possible purchase my home but also pay off the outstanding amount of my IVA.
Does anyone know if this is possible and also any good companies who may be able to help?

Hello Rebecca
In answer to your question, yes it is possible to get a mortgage whilst in an IVA. Certain factors will be looked at that is after you have obtained permission from your IP. The rate would depend on the outcome of a credit search and each case is viewed on it`s individual merits, you would generally need a deposit in the region of 15%, you would need firstly to discuss this with your IP. Best of luck. Tony

Hi rebecca
Yes it would be possible to obtain a mortgage whilst in an IVA with your IP/creditors permission - Please feel free to phone and speak to a mortgage advisor, who will take you though all your options with no obligation.
