If one IVA IP creates an agreement to my creditors and its rejected can i not ask them to lower their fees to see if it will be accepted?

Our IP was made to lower his fees from 18k to 8.5k from the creditors themselves! So I wouldnt worry I dont think the creditors get away with high fees. Not sure what happens if the fees are acceptable though????? Are the fees your IP is charging high?
Why spend life worrying...when you can spend it smiling!!

This will be totally up to the IP involved.

We did ou IVA with Grant Thornton and we were told that if the creditors queried the ip's fees and could effect our IVA then they would drop there fees in order for our IVA to be succesful.

Most IPs will be helpful if it comes to reducing fees - but I would not want to see this become standard procedure for obvious reasons!
If the IVA is not accpepted then the IP loses all of his/her invested time to date, so common sense prevails so long as the suggested reduction is not unreasonable.
