I recieved a letter in the week asking for proof of increaded council tax and school dinners. For the moment i have been advised to disregard the letter for now because i have an offer for F&F gone in.
If my f&f is not successful, how do i prove how much i pay out for school dinners? The primary school isnt a problem, they would probably write me a letter. The problem is the 2 older children are given £2 a day for their dinner. They cant and shouldnt be expected to ask for a reciept from a shop or school canteen.

I think its daft to expect receipts of such things...espeically for as little as £2....

JP, somehow i dont think that would work.
Bagpuss, i agree. The figures i have given are not for all of he children, one of them has to have a packed lunch as he only eats certain things that have to come in certain packaging so school dinner just isnt an optio for him.
The £2 a day for the older children is a lot less than their friends have and we couldnt cut that own any more.

Is it your IP who is asking for this information? If so it is a silly request - all children go to school and most of them have school dinners.

Not the IP as aparantly hes not there very often but they are saying if the F&F is unsucessful, these things have to be adressed before the review can be completed.

I cant complain too much as i have never really had a problem with them and everything as dealt with quickly from the start.
Its just this school dinner thing that bothers me, how on earth do you account for what the kids buy for their dinner?

For now i dont need to bother because my offer for F&F is in. It will only be a problem if my offer is refused. Hopefully it wont be [:D]
