what effect will an IVA have on my credit rating. If it is recorded on my credit history how long will it show for?
Will I be able to apply for a mortgage or other credit after the IVA has been completed?

Hi cha and welcome to the forum. An IVA shows on your credit history for 6 years from the date it is agreed. You will be able to apply for a mortgage after the IVA has been completed, albeit at a slightly higher rate at first. It is also possible to apply for a mortgage whilst in an IVA, although you would need a deposit from a family or friend.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.
