Hi
My creditors meeting has provionally been set for 28th december providing I get the proposal back in the next couple of days. Thats not going to be very nice, just 3 days after Christmas. How will this work, because most places will be closed for Christmas. Is it in my interest for creditors not to vote or am I better with everyone voting ?? dont know whats better or worse ??

Hi caraf
I want to appologise to you for worrying you on Wednesday, I am so sorry if I caused you any additional worry.[:(]
What I was trying to say is to make sure you are 100% happy with your proposal before you sign and send back as it is crucial to get it right.
I know what a stressful time this is for you and how you worry about what would happen if your proposal is rejected by creditors, I had the same feelings and these are normal.
In practice the vast majority of proposals are accepted (over 80% I believe) so if you have put forward your best offer this should be fine. Lots of posters are with clearstart and I have read some very good reports on this forum about them and there service.
Once again appologies if I caused you any additional stress and I wish you luck for your meeting [:)]

It's a strange time to be holding creditors meetings, but so far as I am aware all of the creditor representatives are operating a skeleton operation. Don't be suprised if the proceedings do not have to be adjourned until the New Year though!
